Siborg Presents MPA at Shanghai Nepcon Asia

Siborg took LCR-Reader-MPA to Nepcon Asia to show off their line of LCR-Reader multimeters with a focus on the MPA devices. Their newest business partner, AI-Rox Polytoronics, representing Siborg in China.

Nepcon Asia in Shenzhen showed great interest in the device. Many of the leading manufacturers come to the show looking for new and exciting technology; many showed great enthusiasm about testing unknown components with speed and accuracy. Most were excited about the large range of test options available on the device.

“There was a definitely a buzz from the audience. People were excited about fast and accurate measurements, no set-up and was also mentioned a lot. When we started presenting the device and mentioned that there would be a Bluetooth model in the future, people really got excited. Major manufacturing companies from Shenzhen were there and spoke highly of the ability to remotely record test measurements in real-time. This is a very practical ability for quality control.” says Director Michael Obrecht

LCR-Reader-MPa to be Shown at Del Mar Electronics and Manufacturing show in September 2020

Siborg will be showing the LCR-Reader-MPA and their LCR-Reader multimeters to the Del Mar Electronics and Manufacturing Show at booth #233 in San Diego, California, from September 16-17 2020.

The LCR-Reader line of multimeters offer fully automatic LCR, ESR, LED/diode measurements. The devices use a powerful multimeter combined with a set of gold-plated tweezers; when the tweezers old a component, the multimeter will automatically determine the type of component and best test parameters to use with no set-up required. All measurement values, including any secondary values, are automatically available on the OLED display. The ability to test without any set-up is especially useful for component sorting and time sensitive tasks such as production lines.

LCR-Reader-MPA Well Received at Nepcon

Siborg debuted their LCR-Reader-MPA all-in-one multitester at Nepcon Korea in May. The audience showed great interest in the devices availabilities to test with efficiency and high 0.1% basic accuracy.

“This was the first presentation of the new LCR-Reader-MPA. EMK Nepcon has been proven to be a great place for us to debut devices in the past and this year was no different. We heard a lot of feedback from people, mostly interested in the wide range of applications and high accuracy of the MPA” says Michael Obrecht, the director of Siborg.

Electronics Manufacturing Korea (EMK) has become a globally renowned exhibition for domestic and foreign buyers and is Korea’s largest electronics manufacturing exhibition. Siborg has debuted both LCR-Reader and LCR-Reader-MP at Nepcon in 2014 and 2017 respectively.

LCR-Reader-MPA is a different from traditional multimeters that require set-up and have long wire leads. MPA’s compact design that combines a set of tweezers with a powerful multimeter. When in contact with a component, MPA will automatically determine the type of component and best test parameters to use for the highest accuracy measurements. All measurements are done with 0.1% basic accuracy and are instantly shown on the OLED display, including any secondary values (ESR, Q, D).

LCR-Reader-MPA Makes Debut at Nepcon 2019

Siborg Systems Inc. took their newest addition, the LCR-Reader-MPA to Nepcon Korea (may 15 to 17 2019) for its debut on the technology market.

“This is our first presentation of the newly competed LCR-Reader-MPA,” says the director of Siborg, Michael Obrecht, “We have shown devices in the past to welcoming audiences. Our multimeters are well received by consumers for their ease-of-use and high accuracy. We are excited to see what people have to say about the LCR-Reader-MPA at Nepcon Korea.”

Electronics Manufacturing Korea (EMK) has become the globally renowned exhibition for domestic and foreign buyers an is Korea’s largest electronics manufacturing exhibition. Since 2017, EMK has been co-hosted with ‘Autotronics Manufacturing Korea (AMK)’ and provides various seminars and events for visitors and exhibitors. Siborg is certain that LCR-Reader-MPA will be well received at this showing among the many other industry leaders.

LCR-Reader-MPA is the ultimate all-in-one multi tester with 0.1% basic accuracy and wide range of features including 100 kHz test frequency, current testing, LED/diode tests and automatic LCR/ESR measurements.

LCR-Reader to be Shown at Produktronika in Munich

Siborg Systems Inc.’s affiliates KIT, Germany, and Bokar International, USA, are taking the new LCR-Reader and Smart Tweezers ST-5 to Germany to be shown at Produktronika.

A few batches of the new LCR-Reader are now available from Bokar International, Van Device Ltd. in Japan, Russian Sanata-Tech, and Advance Tech, India.

“We are not sure how popular the new device will be. It is always hard to predict the market. But we are hearing good responses from our European distributors and therefore we are going to present LCR-Reader at Produktronika in Munich in November. Meet us at KIT Kroschewski Industrie Technik GmbH.” says the CEO at Bokar International, Czes Ruskowski.

Siborg Systems Inc. Shows LCR-Reader at Nepcon Shanghai

Siborg Systems Inc. debuted the new LCR-Reader at Nepcon Shanghai Trade show with excited feedback from current users and new customers.

The new LCR-Reader offers users the same functionality as the Smart Tweezers line of LCR-meter but has half the weight and size of previous models without limiting the high accuracy measurements.

The Nepcon Shanghai Trde Show is the largest electronics manufacturing show in China with an estimated 20,000 visitors and hundreds of exhibitors, including leaders in Surface Mount Technology; Fuji Machine Manufacturing, Sony, Hitachi, Panasonic, Heller and OK International.

LCR-Reader was presented by Asian-distributors of the device AscenTek, China, and AscenTex, Taiwan, and Siborg Systems Inc. Jason Yeh, the GoldTek Sales Manager said,  “It is very important to be able to reduce the price of LCR-Reader compared to the Smart Tweezers LCR-meter. We hope to double our sales wth the introduction of the new affordable model.”

The new device offers a basic accuracy of 1%, the same accuracy available on previous ST-2 and ST-3 models. The first to debut the new design, LCR-Reader features a 1 oz. weight and a slimmer build with a bright OLED display and a new one button navigation. With a press of the button, the device changes the measurement mode from the default ‘Automatic Mode’ to ‘Inductance’, ‘Resistance’ or ‘Capacitance’. All measurement and secondary values, as well as the component type and test parameters are automatically displayed on the device. Powered by a Li-Ion battery and rechargeable via micro-USB, LCR-Reader is perfect for travel or working in the field.

Retailing less than $200 USD, the LCR-Reader’s lower price was made possible by a cheaper manufacturing cost to the benefit of the consumers. To lower cost, features such as offset subtraction, voltage measurements, component sorting with variable tolerances and continuity and diode testing were omitted.

Siborg is releasing the LCR-Reader in July/August 2013, with sales expected to be four times that of the previous ST-5 model.
